The programming interface (API) of TabT

To allow developpers and creative webmasters integrating data gathered in the TabT software, TabT provides a generic programming interface (in short "API") that can be used from any language and any platform.

Everbody can consequently create his/her own application (club results management, tournament software, ...) of website (for his/her own club) based on the powerful TabT engine.

"SOAP" and "Web Services" technologies

The TabT API is based on SOAP and Web service technologies. Those frameworks are now available for any modern programming language like PHP, C#, VB.NET or java.

License

TabT API is released under the terms of version 3 of the GNU Affero General Public License that is is a free, copyleft license for software, specifically designed to ensure cooperation with the community in the case of network server software. The GNU Affero GPL is designed specifically to ensure that the modified source code becomes available to the community. It requires the operator of a network server to provide the source code of the modified version running there to the users of that server. Therefore, public use of a modified version, on a publicly accessible server, gives the public access to the source code of the modified version.
